Sometimes I wonder why can't some people do their own dirty work. Bad news being received via email, text message, etc. are just bad decorum. However, when dealing with a nut job that just slashed your tires send someone else to be killed.
Who ever came up with the term "plucking my nerves" never met this girl. Rule 1 of heavy drinking: never admit you have a habit, always blame others around you.
